KONE Title - Chapter Lead Should Costing & Value Addition or Chapter Lead Should Costing & VAVE About Your Role Should Costing & Value Addition Manager sha ll lead the multifaceted team of engineers at India Technology and Engineering Center (ITEC), Ambattur I.E . His/her r esponsibilities encompass: developing, analyzing , and maintaining detailed should cost to guide engineering, product development and procurement teams on cost reduction activities . As a n agile team Chapter Lead you stand at the forefront to understand organization \'s big picture , subsequently cascad ing it in terms of ambitious team KPIs and quarterly OKRs targets . S teer ing the team to focus on achiev ing objective s though measurable key results and provide transparent feedback about individual performance are your core tasks . About Your Responsibilities Care: - By c oach ing, d evelop ing, and motivat ing an agile team through your strong leadership , hands-on engagement, continuous feedback, and active mentorship. Identify and develop talent to foster appropriate skill sets in place to deliver best standards of performance. Customer: - By bring ing a strong analytical mindset to make our product competitive advantage over its competitor by adding value through KONE product. Collaboration: - Connect ing with procurement team to focus on fact-based negotiation with supplier and connect with engineering & new product development team to focus on making fact ual decision s to release new product s in market. Courage: - Analyze information to identify cost leverage opportunities by participating in various forums and support in integration of should costing function & Value engineering function to deliver competitive advantage for KONE products by increas ing value to customer. About Your Skills Deep knowledge i n Should Costing, Value analysis (VA), Value Engineering (VE) and Continuous Improvement (CI) . Cutting edge c ompetenc y to lead cross functional team events like Teardown, Benchmarking, Value methodology or other cost reduction workshop . Product cost management software ( aPriori or simila r) experience is an a dded a dvantage. Good communication skills to collaborate efficiently with team members , internal & external stakeholders . Experience in working with agile, cross-functional, and multicultural team . Open minded & out of the box thinker Education and Experience Postgraduate or Undergraduate degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics ) 10 plus years\' experience on Should costing , Value Engineering, Teardown & Benchmarking activities . 2 years and above as a people manager is must as you need to manage team of 15 plus engineers in India.
