Designation: Manager/Senior Manager - Business Development (PET preform)

Location: Goregaon (Mumbai)

• Experience: 5-15 Years

Job Responsibilities:

1. Generating Sales: Actively seek out new sales opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other means. Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients.

2. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Understand customer needs and requirements and propose suitable solutions.

3. Product Knowledge: Have a deep understanding of the company's PET preform products, including specifications, applications, and benefits compared to competitors' products.

4. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitors' activities. Provide feedback to the company on market dynamics.

5. Sales Strategy Development: Develop strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and achieve sales targets. Set ambitious goals and strive to achieve or exceed them.

6. Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers, ensuring terms are favorable for both parties. Close sales deals and achieve agreed-upon targets.

7. Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding product specifications, usage, and troubleshooting.

8. Collaboration: Work closely with the production team, logistics, and customer service departments to ensure smooth order processing, delivery, and customer satisfaction.

9. Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and other relevant documentation. Provide management with updates on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.

Requirements:

1. Experience: Previous experience in sales, preferably in the manufacturing or plastics industry. Experience specifically with PET preforms or related products is a strong asset.

2. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with manufacturing processes and technical specifications related to PET preforms is advantageous.

3. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical customers.

4. Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to close sales deals.

5. Customer Focus: Customer-oriented mindset dedicated to meeting customer expectations and ensuring satisfaction.

6. Goal-oriented: Results-driven with a strong motivation to achieve and exceed sales targets.

7. Education: A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, or a related field is often preferred.

8. Travel: Willingness to travel frequently to meet with customers, attend trade shows, and visit production facilities.
