Job Purpose


Strategic link of Supply Chain Management between Business Group # Plant - Customers. Ensuring prompt placement by effective co-ordination with channel partners and plant personnel to increase customer satisfaction and revenue cycle of the company. To plan, implement & ensure logistics support to RIL plants and terminals with maintaining high level of safety


Job Accountabilities


• Ensure proper planning and smooth dispatches of liquids by providing timely placement of tankers, safe and timely delivery to customer to achieve highest level of customer satisfaction.
• Coordinating with BG, RO, and Site Logistics, to effect smooth dispatches.
• Inducting performing vendors on the affected lanes and make the changes in allotment percentage.
• Ensuring maximum back freighting.
• Monthly review of vendor#s performance.
• Imparting safety/operations training to vendors.
• To instruct transporters to bring load worthy and transit worthy vehicles with standard safety norms.
• Monitor VTS data on daily basis and take corrective action.
• Ensuring the involvement of transporters in regular Transporters Meet at Site to make them aware of Site requirements, understanding of carrier problems and resolution by Site Logistics & Security. Sharing the LFI (Learning from Incident) with them to stop recurrence of such unsafe acts / practices both within the complex and on the road.
• Input of market freights as and when required by Freight management for taking corrective actions.




• Coordination with ALL plants to ensure 100% Back Freighting of Out Bound tankers and with Transporters and BG for Inbound tankers



Job Purpose



The individual will oversee the comprehensive risk and compliance management program for the supply chain function, assessing and identifying areas that could impede the safety, security, and financial/ operational performance of the organization. Major responsibilities include control management of GRCA platform including automation opportunities and trainings for new users, governance through quarterly SCM BRAC meeting and resolution of audit queries of LoD3 and ensure its closure.





Job Accountabilities


• Reviews and assesses risk management policies and protocols; make recommendations and implement modifications and improvements.


• Process reviews - Review existing process to identify gaps and strengthen internal controls.


• Owner of the risk register - identify, monitor, and initiate measures to mitigate/ reduce the risks that can affect the operations of SCM.


• Control management of GRCA platform including automation opportunities and trainings for new users.


• Reporting of issues in GRCA portal and discussion with LoD1 for corrective/ preventive actions.


• Ensure periodic review and governance through SCM BRAC meetings.


• Review and monitor audit report/ findings with LoD3 and facilitate closure of issues with LoD1. Ensure no repeat incidents/ violations are observed.
