Working within the FSO team and reporting to the Director, Billing Operations, the individual supports the Order to Cash processes for the entire Group. The role supports all core SAP billing/invoicing needs. The individual will be responsible for ensuring on time execution and maintaining of invoicing tasks for the company by always working in line with agreed processes and procedures.

The role entails leading multiple team leaders and works closely with key stakeholders within Group Finance to ensure that all commercials are processed and accounted for appropriately. There is close collaboration with the other invoicing support teams both inside LSEG and within our partner vendors.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Lead the SAP billing operations team to ensure accurate and on time delivery of all invoices
  • To ensure all the scheduled billing jobs in SAP are created and completed as per the agreed schedule without any hiccups, to ensures smooth cash flow throughout their enterprise.
  • Manages the daily operations of the SAP billing system.
  • Manage stakeholders across the Business Operation & Technology landscape regarding the operational support, with a particular focus on technical integration, including interfaces between impacted and / or dependent Billing system & applications.
  • To Ensures the operations and associated procedures of billing systems are efficient and effective for billing delivery.
  • To Make informed decision & judgments and take appropriate action regarding issues which may potentially impact the scheduled Billing services delivered by the SAP Bill Run team across the functional area.
  • Ensure the necessary checks & validation before / during and after scheduled bill runs are validated to ensure timely & quality deliverables.
  • Develops and implements new billing solutions to improve process efficiency and accuracy.
  • To ensure the KPIs are met as agreed.
  • Partner with a cross-functional support and business teams to ensure customer success in an agile environment.
  • Interact with operations team and business teams to realize process requirements, propose & develop solution to resolve issues and determine estimates.
  • Manage the functional & technical resources in terms of resource planning, demand management and the prioritization of workload around the scheduled Billings.
  • Monitor Billing program/project baselines frequently to ensure all the scheduled/planned activities are occurring as planned - System Checks, Pre/Post Bill Run Validations, budget,
  • Reporting, Risk Mitigation Plan, Staffing, Issue Management Plan, Workload schedule... etc.
  • Set annual department goals and ad-hoc targets to support company goals and track them for delivery.
  • Review KPIs / SLA trackers and promoting the prompt resolution of queries.
  • Work along with the Performance Excellence team to ensure on time publication of performance dashboards
  • Work closely with Risk Management to establish effective automated financial controls that help assure desired outcomes.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • At least 10+ years\' relevant SAP AR Billing consulting experience in a professional services environment, with a large firm, or serving as an internal consultant within industry Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables at the same time
  • Experience in delivering operational IT support services in a highly integrated, multi-application environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong SAP experience in the Billing (SD), SAP-SDC/DRC (invoicing), Billing-Variant configuration,
  • Pricing, SAP-Reporting, and Finance (FI-RMCA) modules
  • Management of service delivery performance and compliance through agreed metrics and Service levels
  • Excellent management, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to comprehend business & technical processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in English Written & Verbal Communication
  • Escalate critical delays to internal groups and any issues to management as appropriate
  • Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset with focus on gradual improvement of the billing function
  • Ability to track, review and share feedback on individual performance for direct reports and reporting teams on a monthly/quarterly basis against pre-agreed objectives and KPIs.
  • Work with team leads and knowledge specialists to ensure that team members have the appropriate training/information to perform to required standards Delivering training and ensuring associated documentation is communicated.
