ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Purpose/Objective The purpose of this role to present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to new prospective customers.
Key responsibilities

  • Achieve End customer target for Terminal which includes target number.
  • Align and drive End customer strategy for DP World portfolio for CCT.
  • Progressively revisit supply chain requirements for end customers & provide them integrated supply chain solution.
  • To be a key player to gather Customer Intelligence and co-ordinate with manager to develop customer specific solutions
  • Prepare regular management reports for end customer volume & revenue forecast.
  • Effective co-ordination with customers for credit and collections as per agreed terms.
  • Manage internal & external stakeholders' relation.
  • Assistance in arranging trade gathering/function.
  • Responsible for sales growth in the region - Engaging with customers on a regular basis and retain existing business, evaluate shifting of business, attracting new business, and monitoring development and delivery of services
  • MIS and CRM.
  • Actively work on revenue Diversification and enhancement across our service offerings.
  • Engage and contribute to digitization projects
  • Engage and contribute to P & T projects.
  • Map the market and maintain a market intelligence of customers in the region.
  • Keep a close watch on performance of trade, competition - track, record, analyze competition volumes / business patterns / infrastructure developments and act in due compliance with governing competition norms and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
Skills and Competencies
  • Good knowledge about EXIM products & services. Prior experience in End to End Logistics Sales for direct customers.
  • Knowledge of the customer strategic imperatives (products/ solutions/ pain points/ KPIs/ MIS/stakeholders) and knowledge of our DPW products/ BUs
  • Customer orientation - Regular engagement with Customers to gather Customer Intelligence and develop customer specific solutions by engaging multiple stakeholders Internal & External which will retain/attract customers by understanding their changing needs and expectation.
  • Analytical skills (KPIs/ dashboards/ reviews/ Monthly reports)
  • Strong communication skills (as the liaison between the customer and DPW - oral and written) including listening/ patience/ team player,
Strong MS office & presentation skills.
  • Strategic influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Financial knowledge (basic understanding of Finance)

  • Educational Qualification (min)
MBA or equivalent from a reputed University
  • Preferred Certifications if any

  • Range/ Min no of years - of overall Experience required
8-10 years proven experience in Sales & Marketing.
  • Min no of years of Industry specific experience required, if any & the industry type
Minimum 8 years proven experience in sales & marketing in Shipping line, Terminal Commercial, Freight forwarding.
