Sales Manager @ KolkataOur client is into fashion and fashion accessories and they would like to fill-up the following position asap.Position : Sales ManagerLocation : KolkataEducation : A Bachelor\'s degree in sales, marketing, communications or related field. Masters will be a plus.Experience : 5-10 yearsCompensation : Commensurate with education and experienceRole Responsibilities and Desired Profile :Job Responsibilities :- Create strategic sales calendars for multiple markets, domestic and international.- Implement, execute, and coordinate the tasks as per the marketing/sales plans.- Initiate all plans and strategies for developing business to achieve the Company\'s sales goals.- Implement the sales plan/targets and coordinate and execute the sales tasks.- Identify and manage the whole distribution chain and day-to-day sales activities.- Coordinate and maintain internal and external interactions and activities.- Assist in monitoring expenses to achieve cost efficiency and economy.- Provides full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of development.- Work extensively with cross-functional peers in major international markets and regions in US and other countries and provide them support from India (if required).- Assist in the process of planning, monitoring expenses and revenues to achieve cost efficiency and efficacy. This includes making budgets and media plans for various regional markets across the globe, including India.- Identify new market opportunities, analyse sales performance, best practices, key consumer insights, market behaviour, competitive insights, brand performance indicators that shape cross functional strategies that drive customer acquisition and lifetime value.- Preparing relevant MIS reports.Job Requisites :- Passion for sales and fashion with relevant experience in lifestyle brand, fashion, accessories, home goods and so on.- Good communicator in English. Proficiency in other Indian languages a plus.- Enjoy a rapidly growing environment, lead others while being hand-on.- Desire to build processes with ability to prioritize and organize sales activities.- Must have relevant industry contacts and relationships across variety of channels, distributors, retailers, boutiques and so on.- Has exposure to stepping into new markets, planning and strategizing, negotiating complex deals, placing products in MBO, LFS and so on.- Self-starter, target-oriented with a go-getter attitude.- Strength in problem-solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.- Excellent presentation skills, time-management, project management and decision making and interpersonal/team-working skills.- At least a bachelor\'s degree in sales, marketing, communications or related field.
