: Position Manager - Commercial and Marketing

Location Redhills & Vallur - CFS
Position Report to DGM Sales - ChennaiKey Responsibilities

  • Drive EXIM volumes to achieve the Budget.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Commodities/Industry sector, including e-commerce companies, technology manufacturers, retailers, and distributors.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape, and use this information to develop tailored business development strategies.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by proactively identifying and engaging potential clients through various channels such as cold calling, networking events, industry conferences, and referrals.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients, highlighting the unique value propositions and benefits of our logistics services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, customer service, and finance, to ensure smooth onboarding and seamless delivery of services to clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring profitability while meeting customer requirements and market standards.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the technology and consumer durables sector, including senior executives, supply chain managers, and procurement officers.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for service improvement and develop innovative solutions to meet evolving customer needs.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to the management team, highlighting key performance metrics, sales achievements, and areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements related to the technology and consumer durables sector and ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards in all business activities.
  • Cross selling of Other Logistics verticals
  • Identify BCO clients for continuous business support.
  • To exhibit leadership qualities
  • To Develop strong team and lead them.
Qualification & CompetenciesQualifications & experience
  • Graduation degree with First Class (70% and above) pass out.
  • Total experience of more than 20 years and should have worked with senior leadership for couple of years.
  • Minimum of 12 years working experience in CFS operation and commercial
  • Good Communication skills in English & Hindi language, both oral and written.
  • Experience in Marketing, Business Development\' Finance and Operations of CFS.
  • Confident, self-driven and a team player
