Know it matters. Reinsurance Finance function in India primarily supports the quarterly closing and reporting process of Reinsurance Business. There are different sub-processes performed by Reinsurance Financial reporting team in India which includes but is not limited to: Quarter end Close, Reporting, Reconciliation, Planning, Business Analysis processes, etc. This position will be supporting the Bermuda Reinsurance business.DISCOVER your opportunityWhat will your essential responsibilities include?xc2xb7 Responsible for leading the Bermuda Reinsurance Financial Reporting team.xc2xb7 Responsible for Reinsurance Financial planning, accounting and reporting activities.xc2xb7 Responsible for driving and preparing Quarterly Income Statement Pack and Balance Sheet Pack, monthly/quarterly reconciliations which include but is not limited to Balance Sheet and P&L reconciliations.xc2xb7 Support Legal Entity & Regulatory reporting work.xc2xb7 Responsible for preparing, reviewing, and posting (if needed) journal entries.xc2xb7 Maintain effective communication with onshore (both written and verbal) and manage expectations.xc2xb7 Keeping the flexibility in reports to incorporate any high-level adjustments or structural changes from stakeholders.xc2xb7 Develops and maintains process documentation.xc2xb7 Drive continuous/ process improvement and special projects.xc2xb7 Knowledge of Enterprise Finance Reporting (EFR), Qlik & HFM / Smart-View, IFRS 17, will be an added advantage.xc2xb7 Support Ad-hoc activities.You will report to Senior Manager, Reinsurance Financial Reporting.QualificationsSHARE your talentWexe2x80x99re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:Required Skills and Abilities:xc2xb7 Qualified CA with relevant experience or MBA Finance with relevant experience in Financial Accounting & Internal reporting.xc2xb7 Excellent Accounting knowledge preferably on IFRS xe2x80x93 Reviewing Journal Entries, Income Statement Analysis, Balance Sheet analysis and commentary, Financial Planning & Analysis etc.xc2xb7 Should have relevant years of experience in directly handling a team.
