Designation: Area Manager - RCU Business Vertical: Shared Services Department: Risk Grade: M2/M3 Proposed Immediate Supervisor: Regional Manager RCU Key Objective: Fraud Identification & Control (Pre-approval) Verifications of documents - Verification of loan documents through empanelled agencies for ensuring curtailing of fraud at entry level. Ensure Sampling Effectiveness for controlling Application Fraud Background / Profile checks-Checks on profile of customer / various agencies through market intelligence/feedback Agency Empanelment- Empanelment of a good agency with relevant experience and expertise to handle the fraud detection and investigation thereafter. Entering into proper SLA\'s with the Agencies Fraud Investigation Taking corrective action - Based on the intensity of fraud, penalizing the customer / channel/ associate involved in committing the fraud. Taking corrective action and setting deterrents and recovering the loss to the organization. Logically concluding the cases with modus operandi & highlighting the gaps and proposing corrective measures & feedback to Policy. Fraud Prevention & Control (On going basis - post approval) Executive/Staff employment checks-Pre appointment reference and profile checks Seeding and Mystery shopping-Initiating seeding and mystery shopping. Asset verifications- random asset verifications to check third party usage and model mismatch at delivery. Actual sourcing detection/ Channel monitoring- Random checks on sourcing channels to identify freelancer\'s involvement, banned channels involvement, etc. Agency Audits-Regular audits at the Agencies (Sales/Processing/Verification/Valuation) to check if laid down process are followed. Random cross checks on report submitted by the verification Agencies for Authenticity of information submitted Other Initiatives Ensuring Agency payouts & other related RCU costs are kept within Budgeted provisions Ensure standardized RCU processes are followed across various locations in terms of basic sampling and reporting thereof. Ensuring new initiatives are taken to curb fraud losses across the organization. Ensuring new initiatives are taken to improvise and make Loans origination systems more effective to catch frauds Ensuring new initiatives are taken to develop fraud rules in the Dedupe mechanism followed in the Loans origination systems to ensure second tier of Application Fraud detection Interact with IT, Risk and Business teams as necessary to develop the required output on the RCU front Regular Agency visit & performance appraisal of the Agency linked to individual performance. FPR for the agency performance.
