Monitoring/checking of precision machined components & other items used for compressor. Should reduce cycle time & maintain company Quality standard by reducing overall cost of Quality. Position will be responsible for providing the day-to-day support for the appraisal and disposition of non?conforming material. This includes initiating and leading Quality improvement activities for both in-plant and external suppliers. It also involves vendor upgrade by necessary CAPA on recurring/critical issues. Provides leadership of the business unit\'s Quality team, including developing, implementing and maintaining effective Quality standards, systems and processes. Ability to resolve Quality issuesHow You\'ll Make an ImpactProvide Leadership & guidance to Quality team for receipt inspection & vendor end inspection. Liaison with buyer/respective customers for quality improvement basis lesson learnt from various quality issuesMonitoring & guidance to team for day to day inspection activities & problem resolution basis daily inspection reportEnsure that all quality procedures and work instructions are in practice in respective area and activities fully align with requirements of quality standard and systemDevelop and maintain procedures for effective auditing of suppliers and materialsReview / analyze / authorize the inspection reports /inspection certificates/ inspection comments /Non conformances through NCMR / MRB Drive the RCA investigation & CAPA on Quality issues ensure compliance of IMS in respective work area and co-ordination of IMS activityAbility to demonstrate critical machining inspection during assembly & testingPrepare checklist for inspection activities & Inspection as per SE standards, Drawings and related specificationCo-ordination of various tools (NCMR, SIR, PPTL, Quality Notification, etc.)Prepare and present monthly critical metric preparation & executionReading of Compressor & Package Engineering drawing Keep up to date, optimize testing processes, plan for strategic improvements, and improve company profitabilityProvides client Quality assurance for products and services and assist in assuring the achievement at the optimum Quality costsParticipate in internal and external client audit documentation and inspections. Participate in Quality intercompany meetings. Participation in Supplier Audit.What You BringBachelor in Mechanical or Production Engineering or equivalent experienceA minimum of 12 years in a Quality Control / Assurance having specific exposer to receipt inspection, machining dimension & geometrical parameter inspection. Should have leadership experience for managing team of at least 3-4 engineers for similar workExperience in preparing and verifying check list, CAPA, process improvement activities. ?
