Public Relation Manager

Required experience:

- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant public relations experience in the BFSI industry

- Candidate should have a basic understanding of the BFSI industry

- Sound understanding of the media landscape and existing media relations

- Should be a team player and be able to work independently

Skillset:

- A positive and can-do attitude

- A creative mindset

- People management skills

- Ability to multitask

- Good writing & communication skills; good command of written English is a must

- Well-versed in MS office, PowerPoint, excel, and word

- Good organizational and time-management skills

Education background: Graduate / Post-Graduate in communications

Job Responsibilities:

Overall :

- Working closely with the PR Lead and the other business stakeholders to ideate, strategize and execute impactful PR campaigns

- Tracking the brand growth and suggesting improvements

- Ability to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of all communications

Internal :

- Tracking and analyzing media coverage daily

- Creating PR plans, reviews & reports

- Content management, including drafting Press Releases & notes, industry quotes, authored articles, speeches, briefing documents, LinkedIn and Twitter posts

- Proactively creating and pitching high-impact stories to relevant media

- Exploring & participating in relevant awards and speaker opportunities - National & Global

- Designing and creating engaging presentations on MS PowerPoint

Competition & Industry :

- Tracking competition news and their social media platforms to be up to date

- Tracking industry news/updates

External :

- Ability to identify and work with external partners and agencies

- Manage and track the output of the external agencies

Media Relations :

- Tracking and keeping media lists updated - BFSI, Insurance, Corporate, City - English & Regionals

- Building and maintaining media relations
