: Job SummaryIf you are looking for an opportunity in Inside Sales Engineering, Emerson has this exciting role for you! The Proposal Manager will be responsible for preparing and leading the proposal and estimation activities for PLC, SCADA and DCS based automation projects. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Ensure that the proposal follows techno-commercial requirements, and all assumptions are clearly spelt out and Risks and contingencies are accurately evaluated and documented.
• Ensure of a clear process of acceptance of enquiry from sales for tendering and agree upon the Profitability and risks of the project, customer deliverables and the project schedule. To review the same and update the status.
• Improve the profitability of project by Innovative solution development and being competitive in collaboration with other partners and solution architects.
• Timely submission of the offer in full compliance to tendering and approval process.
• Responsible for proposing clear T&Cs and payment terms to have timely collection of payments against defined achievements.
• Takes ownership and ensure submit tendering reports, updating of database on routine basis.
• Observe safe and professional work practices of the team as compliance requirement of company.

Who You Are:You serve as a strategic partner to build, grow, and maintain profitable and long-lasting relationships with key accounts. You make significant progress and remains calm and composed, even when things are uncertain. You observe situational and group dynamics and selects best-fit approach. For This Role, You Will Need:

• Minimum 6 - 7 years of proven experience in Automation, SCADA, PLC, DCS, VFD, Project Sales, Implementation and Tendering
• Knowledge on various verticals like Power, Water, Metal, Oil and Gas Industries
• Expertise in Automation, PLC, and SCADA

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Bachelor's degree or any equivalent in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation and Automation Engineering or any related field
• Proficient in MS Office Suites such as MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
