  • Overall responsible for Revenue, Billing, Collection and Profitability of the projects along with adherence to QCDS (Quality, Cost, Delivery and Safety).
  • Responsible for the planning & execution of whole project.
  • Fulfil all contractual obligation of the project and protect all contractual rights of the company.
Roles and Responsibilities:Planning:
  • Manage complete project from award stage (post-tender) to closure stage.
  • Plan and forecast project budget.
  • Responsibility of all resource mobilisation (including Sub-contractors, source of material, machinery, local purchase etc) required for the smooth execution of project.
  • Overall responsible for all contractual obligations.
  • Ensure project completion within specified time, quality, and budget.
  • Create and execute project work plans (Micro / Macro) and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Implementation:
  • Monitor the Construction, Supply, Revenue, Billing and Collection activities to ensure adherence to targets.
  • Monitor and optimise cost through the project life cycle in line with tender/ budget.
  • Monitor the progress of project and update Regional Manager / PCH and Management with the mandated frequency of reviews.
  • Maintain complete project documentation with respect to design and construction.
  • Communicate with client regarding project progress, contractual issues, contract validation etc.
  • Identify and implement various relevant mechanisation and digital initiatives.
  • Follow approved method statements in compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
  • Develop large sub-contractors for the smooth execution.
  • Identify, monitor, and control sub-contractors to ensure timely execution at the project site.
  • Ensure adherence of all statutory compliances pertaining to the project.
  • Ensure elimination of non-adherence of Statutory Compliance by subcontractors.
  • Manage and control local purchase and payment related issues.
Contract Management
  • Ensure that KEC\'s interests are always safeguarded against the customer and subcontractor.
  • Claims against customer are raised timely and advice taken from Internal Contracts and Legal. When in doubt, ask Contracts.
  • Claims on Subcontractor are enforced timely and properly with a view to prevent disputes and safeguard KEC interests.
  • Identify and propose NS Items and Variation claims (change of scope) and pursue the same with client till realization.
  • Contractual letters are submitted to client timely. Important Contractual Correspondences those relating to Extension of time, Claims, Offloading, Termination, Notice to Corrects etc would necessarily to be vetted from Contracts/HO.
ESG
  • Work closely with all stakeholders across project for ESG to drive initiatives in focus areas of identified issues.
  • Implement effective and reliable data management for ESG performance measures for project site.
Relationship Management:
  • Build strong relationship with client and PCM team.
  • Coordinate with local district officials and mining sub-contractors to control royalty related issues of materials.
  • Coordinate with local Civic / Law & Order bodies to ensure smooth execution of project.
  • Apprise HO in various strategic issues in the project /region.
People Management:
  • Ensure / Drive achievement of agreed scores in Happiness / Engagement related indices / developing people.
