To support growth, world-class manufacturing and productivity, you manage the detailed planning, development and execution of capital projects, leading technical development, feasibility perspectives on engineering-related activities within the supply chain, and capital expense project execution meeting the highest levels of quality, safety and environmental requirements. You follow innovative processes in project management and ensure adherence to McCain standards in execution with hands on experience in design of the Mechanical and Process equipment layout required in facilities, spearhead the contract negotiations and physical delivery of the capital project package nature of small, medium and large capacities.

Functional Competencies:

• Provide on-site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
• Feasibility & Estimations for New / expansion/Modifications Projects including medium and large-scale project during all phases of project.
• Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives.
• Report on project success criteria results, metrics, and deployment management activities.
• Procure adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes.
• Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership.
• Support schedules to manage the engagement contract.
• CAPEX preparation, Budgeting & Cost Control for medium scale projects include REA initiation and approval from all stakeholders.
• Project Scheduling & Activity Planning in MSP Software.
• Project Executions, commissioning and Validation of Equipment including civil jobs.
• Verify McCain standards for the installation and follow up for equipment arrival on time.
• Strongly following McCain safety standards and ensure to adherence it from site contractors.
• Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication.
• continue professional development in order to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods and best practices.

Project Management

Project Planning:

• Strong adherence on project management process from start to end for all minor and medium scale projects including project charters initiation / updating, Detailed BOD, Budgeting, planning and scheduling, SuM process, REA initiation and approval.
• Cash flow planning and management for all kind of projects. Close work with finance to adhere on yearly plan.
+ Review of new project / modification of proposals, Feasibility check & Specifying criteria for

Projects.

• + Basic design & cost estimation for new projects Basic calculations of Utility load & Selection of

Utility Equipment.

• + Review of specifications, Technical comparison & rating & subsequent Selection of Equipment.
+ Co-ordination with Consultant and vendors for Preparation of equipment & machinery.


Preparation of Area Layout, P&I Diagrams.

Project Execution:

• Preparation of Project Execution Plan & Scheduling of Activities.
• Implementation of execution plans & schedules & day to day monitoring of project activities.
• To ensure rectification work is done to the accepted standards.

Qualifications & Validation of Equipment & Systems:

• Review & Verification of Design Qualifications.
• FAT for equipment & systems.
• Execution of Installation & Operational Qualifications.
• Review & verification of Performance Qualification.
• CQV sign off by stakeholders and project close out.

Safety

• Ensure all tasks are undertaken safely with appropriate PPE & procedures by self and by assigned electricians, mechanical fitters etc. working under him
• Adhere to safe work practices such as working at height regulations
• Ensure equipment is correctly isolated (LOTO) when maintenance is carried out
• Report any safety or property loss incident to relevant persons in the safety organization and Manager as per company procedures
• Identify & report and plan corrective and preventive action for unsafe working conditions / machine faults
• Plan & execute plant improvements to enhance safety standards
• Carry out regular safety inspections in all areas of the plant like BOS etc for areas under his supervision

General

• Entrusting the responsibility and time schedules to project staff like drafts man, welders, electricians etc.
• Ensuring and conducting training programs for employee and contract labor staff at regular intervals involving safety (like LOTO), technical Information and other engineering related issues
• Identifying and implementing strategies for building team effectiveness by promoting a spirit of cooperation between team members
• Communicate project staff under him on their performance, recognizing achievements & shortfalls, Manage the workload of subordinates & ensure that engineering staff are sufficiently skilled & trained
• International Travel: Willingness/ desire to travel to overseas manufacturing locations and is required.
• Flexible with working hours - i.e. may stay late one day and go early the next.
