Position Summary
The incumbent will be responsible to run PPC department in efficient manner to achieve the production target, ensure that quality standard is maintain consistently and reduce the rejection. As a production manager involve with the planning, coordination and control of manufacturing processes.Roles and Responsibilities:
- Involved with the planning, coordination and control of manufacturing processes.
- Manage production and capacity planning
- Drive solutions to reduce and eliminate any gaps in plans preventing meeting order schedule, including assisting in sourcing materials as required
- Day to Day Production Planning and Inventory control
- Tracking and Managing daily production progress
- Decide what resources are required
- Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed
- Liaise among different departments, e.g. Production, Stores etc.
- Plan and solve any roadblocks to meeting plan
- Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed
- Supervise and motivate a team members
- Review of Team members
- Identify training needs.
- Prepare and organize production reports and maintain for the department.
- Represent the planning organization in internal program meetings
Skills Required:
- Production planning and organisation skills to be able run and monitor the production process.
- The ability to act decisively and solve staff or equipment-related problems.
- The capacity to grasp process concepts easily.
- The ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with team..
- The ability to work under pressure and motivate others to meet deadlines.
- SAP Knowledge:
Education Qualification & Experience required:
- M. Tech Mechanical engineer with 7 years of experience.
- B.Tech Mechanical Engineer with 9 years of experience.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineer with 12 years of experience.
- ITI (Mechanical) with 15 years of experience.
