Directs a comprehensive product strategy from product conception and definition through end of life. Functions as a central resource with design, manufacturing, quality, test, marketing and distribution as the product(s) move through their lifecycle. Directs those involved in the design, modification and evaluation of all phases of a specific product or group of products. Formulates and executes long-term plans for cost/profit control. Promotes use of new technologies and industry-leading trends. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our team in India! Reporting to the Senior Manager, Product; The Product Manager leads a comprehensive product strategy from product conception and definition through end of life, defining an overall product line vision, ensuring factors driving revenue and profitability are in place, while working through managed employees and matrixed resources. Your focus is at a product line level working on a suite of products (all features/functions).
As part of the Product Management team, you are the person ultimately responsible for the overall product success, including working with Availity owners, partners and broad network of customers to design a solution that meets market needs.
You will be empowered to make decisions about product roadmaps, ensuring delivery of roadmaps, go-to-market plans, planning activities, and removing roadblocks for the delivery teams.
This leadership position requires that you lead by example and empower your Product Owners and Analysts to drive execution of your product vision.
You are accountable for product design, road mapping and planning, your ultimate objective is to positively differentiate your assigned products from the competition and delight customers.
This position requires an understanding of the Product Management life cycle and the artifacts and ensuring teams are collaborative and documenting for success. You must possess the ability to understand market opportunity and viability of product design and articulate ROI as an internal and external product champion and its strongest evangelist.

What you will be doing:• Enabling the portfolio strategy by delivering a commercially viable product and ensuring all factors of a go to market strategy are enacted.
• Collaborating with the Product Organization to understand the market opportunity and viability of product design.
• Defining product vision, roadmaps and supporting business case for new solutions.
• Working with internal stakeholders, health plans and providers to understand their workflows and define the problem to be solved.
• Developing or directing development of operational and reporting metrics to ensure product success.
• Developing and prioritizing requirements to support operational and business needs.
• Gathering, analyzing, and responding to user feedback.
• Working cross-functionally in a matrix driven environment.
• Collaborating with technical teams including UX/UI, Architects and Developers.
• Leading teams of product owners and product analysts to execute against product vision.
• Holding yourself and your team accountable for the success of the product line in the market.


Requirements:• Minimum of 8 years' experience in overall Product Management preferably with products within healthcare technology.
• Experience creating and executing roadmaps as well as leading a team to meet deliverables.
• Experience managing customer expectations.
• Worked in and are comfortable operating in a matrix organization, coordinating across multiple disciplines, supporting US based organizations.
• Possess technical acumen, the ability to gather and describe product requirements and get feedback from technical staff.
• Knowledgeable of Agile processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


You will set yourself apart with:• Pragmatic Marketing experience/certification
• Experience working in an Agile environment using tools such as Jira.
• Familiarity with ANSI X12 transactions
