Job Overview The Procurement Manager's responsibilities include sourcing materials from both local and global suppliers. They are tasked with procuring direct and indirect materials for all PCC India Manufacturing, R&D, and CMO Plants. The role involves coordinating with planners to ensure materials are arranged to meet Supply Chain OTIF targets. Additionally, the manager handles invoice submission to the accounts team, timely payments to suppliers, resolution of Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt (GRIR) queries, timely settlement of advance payments, and GSTIR returns from suppliers. Adherence to company Procurement SOP, Request for Quotation (RFQ), preparation, comparison, and approval, as well as participation in internal and external audits, are also key responsibilities. Ensuring adequate safety stock levels for all materials is another critical aspect of the rol e.

Experience Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Packaging preferred





Competencies: • Preferably, at least 10 years of experience in a chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, with mandatory SAP proficiency.
• Familiarity with cGMP principles and practices is essential.
• Demonstrated knowledge of purchasing practices, procedures, vendor selection, and justification is required.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CRA and the Artwork Management Team to ensure that labeling and packaging designs are prepared for printing.
• Monitor and prioritize orders as needed to maintain continuous operations at the Digwal Inhalation Anesthesia (IA) site.
• Initiate and oversee release schedules for vendor-supplied items to ensure they arrive on time.
• Procure purchased items by sending orders to suppliers and actively managing their fulfillment.
• Support expediting and follow-up on purchase orders.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials according to schedule and resolve any vendor-related issues affecting current and future purchase orders.
• Coordinate procurement activities with site stakeholders.
• Regularly assess vendor performance and reliability, taking corrective actions when necessary.
• Address discrepancies in shipments received from vendors and resolve any incorrect deliveries directly with suppliers.
• Deliver high-quality procurement support to the Digwal PCC IA site.
• Coordinate with logistics and projects to maintain a steady flow of raw materials.
• Handle invoice discrepancies and manage return purchase orders.
• Initiate projects aimed at reducing costs and enhancing packaging materials.
• Resolve daily issues related to purchase requisitions (PR) and purchase orders (PO).
• Provide assistance to the ROW PCC Supply Planner as required.
• Should have experience in Import Material Procurement and Clearance
• Should have experience in Vendor Qualification Process as per the GMP guidelines.
• Should be able to identify & develop alternate vendors for better price, quality and on time delivery
• Should be able to prepare the MIS Reports, spend analysis, Cost Savings, Budget Price, supplier assessments and market analysis.
• Should be able to initiate the localization, Price Optimization, vendor base consolidation and second source development.
• Should be able to follow Company Procurement SOP Handle to Internal and External Audit.
• Should have good communication, have experience managing global Internal and External stake holders Responsible for day-to-day purchasing of non-strategic raw materials, packaging materials and labels for ROW sites.
