Job Description


Job Title Manager - Procurement Summary The Procurement Manager for Minor Projects will be responsible for managing the procurement process for all materials, equipment, and services required for minor engineering projects. This role will involve working closely with project managers, engineers, and vendors to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services while maintaining high quality standards.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for minor projects to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Source, select, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and terms for goods and services.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.
  • To execute Contract Management and procurement in most competitive manner, vendor management, logistics management, claim management & settlement of bills, claims, contract closure, in line with overall project program.
  • To Review scope documents for Interiors/Fitouts, retrofitting, refurbishments structural and finishing works.
  • Establishing a large vendor base as per the requirement of the service line.
  • Reviewing contracts/ agreements as received from the clients and draft the vendor agreement.
  • Preparation/review of BOQ in respect to the respective work.
  • Coordinate with project managers and engineers to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, including contracts, purchase orders, and invoices.
  • Monitor and track procurement activities to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in the procurement process.
  • Provide regular reports on procurement activities and performance metrics to management.
Experience:
  • Proven experience as a procurement manager or in a similar procurement role.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles and procurement practices.
  • Well Versed with Work Contract laws & Compliances
  • Knowledge of taxation & insurances around the work contracts
  • Well Versed with Work Contract laws & Compliances

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software.
Qualification:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree / Diploma Course in engineering or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master\'s degree in Material Science or a related field.
  • Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM).
  • Experience in the Project Development Services
