Make material sourcing plan, vendor identification, order tracking, delivery schedules, end to end logistics to ensure on-time delivery as per commitment and delivery schedules with production, sales team
Develop and implement vendor/job work unit evaluation plan
Select best vendors and job work units to improve the quality of material
Ensure min/max levels of inventory maintained though out the year with smooth transactions in accordance with data analysis
Improve accounts payable terms without compromising quality and delivery parameter
Implement Open P.O and VMI concepts to capable vendors
Develop standard operating procedures and work standard for ease in routine operations
Training of employees must be done periodically for the development of an individual
The vendor Evaluation system will establish and fulfill this.
Concepts of Lean, 5S, Kaizen to be followed in routine processes
Resolve vendors/suppliers\xe2\x80\x99 complaints and grievances with high priority
Ensure all required material purchased with competitive rates and within a time frame to reduce delay in other department tasks
Fulfill all document systems required in the department and ensure sustenance of the same.
Fully coordinate with the planning/Operation/Inventory manager for updated order and fulfill customer order deadlines.
