Job Summary



We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Manager- procurement to join our dynamic team. You will work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and customers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products. You will also be responsible for managing inventory levels, forecasting demand, and optimizing the supply chain to reduce costs and improve efficiency.


Responsibilities:


• Maintain relationship with existing suppliers and identify, evaluate new suppliers to ensure procurement of high-quality materials and services complying to project specifications and standards.
• Develop and implement methods and strategies to reduce procurement costs and manage budgetary constraints effectively.
• Plan and forecast material requirements to support production schedules and project timelines.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure reliable supply chains and favourable terms.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best terms, prices, and quality.
• Manage the procurement team to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
• Oversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
• Coordinate packing and forwarding logistics, ensure efficient shipment of goods, optimize packaging materials, and liaise with transportation providers for timely delivery.
• Participate in professional development activities and networking events to enhance supply chain knowledge and skills


Requirements:


• Minimum 5-year Experience in procurement
• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical/Electronics)
• Must have good skills in MS Excel and other MS office tools, experience in any ERP will be a plus.
• Good Negotiation, Analytical and Problem-solving Skills.
• Good Oral Communication Skill in - English, Hindi, and Malayalam
• Excellent Written Communication Skill in - English
