: Job Title: Manager- Polish Line Function: Production Industries Preferred: Furniture Location: Daman Job Overview: As a Polish Line Manager, your primary responsibility is to oversee and manage the operations of the polish line in a manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the polish line, meeting production targets, and maintaining quality standards. Your role involves supervising a team of operators and coordinating with other departments to achieve production goals. Key Responsibilities: Supervise Operations: Monitor the day-to-day operations of the polish line, ensuring adherence to established procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards. Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of operators, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Assign tasks, monitor productivity, and motivate the team to achieve production targets. Production Planning: Collaborate with production planners to develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules. Ensure adequate resources, such as manpower, materials, and equipment, are available to meet production requirements. Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure the production of high-quality finished products. Conduct regular inspections, identify defects or deviations, and take corrective actions as needed. Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate with maintenance personnel to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of the polish line equipment. Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate the polish line processes and identify opportunities for improvement in terms of productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Implement process enhancements and best practices to optimize operations. Safety and Compliance: Promote and maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety regulations and conducting regular safety training sessions. Ensure compliance with relevant environmental, health, and safety standards. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production data, including output, downtime, and quality metrics. Prepare regular reports on production performance, highlighting achievements, challenges, and proposed solutions. Job Expectations: Additional Requirements: 1. Must possess experience in costa polish machine. 2. Must possess experience in PU polish both matte & glossy works. 3. Must also possess experience in polyester colour works, French and Hand polish works. 4. Diploma or equivalent qualification. Additional technical or vocational training is a plus. 5. Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in a related industry such as automotive, furniture, or woodworking. 6. In-depth knowledge of polish line operations, equipment, and processes. 7. Strong understanding of quality control principles and practices. 8. Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. 9. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members, management, and other departments. 10. Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make decisions under pressure. 11. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. 12. Proficiency in using computer systems and software for data entry, reporting, and basic analysis.
