We are looking for Professionals for HR department for one of our Automobile client based in Chennai. Below are the details-
Position-Manager Policies & Development
Experience- 5-10 years
Education-MBA Preferred
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee organizational policies ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Collaborate with department heads to assess and address policy needs and gaps.
- Stay updated on legislation and industry best practices for policy updates.
- Conduct regular policy training sessions and manage employee relations issues.
- Monitor policy effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement.
- Support the development of employee handbooks and code of conduct.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies in recruitment and talent development.
- Conduct diversity assessments, provide improvement recommendations, and deliver inclusive workplace training.
- Partner with employee resource groups and stay informed on DEI industry trends.
- Implement talent management strategies for top talent attraction, development, and retention.
- Collaborate with HR to identify key competencies and design talent development programs.
- Conduct talent assessments, succession planning, and ensure seamless onboarding.
- Monitor employee engagement, implementing retention strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor\'s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in policy development, DEI program implementation, and talent management.
- Strong understanding of Indian labor laws, diversity and inclusion, and the local job market.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with various stakeholders.
