Title: Plant HR/Factory HR (Assistant Manager)Location : Kanyakumari (Kudankulam)Reports to: Group HR HeadAbout company:The plant is situated on the coast of Kanyakumari, where the waters are endowed with the rich fish bounty from the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal. The abundant catch of sardines and mackerels yields high quality fish meal and fish oil. This plant has a processing capacity of 10Tons/hour of raw fish with an ability to process Fish meal, Fish Oil and Fish soluble paste. The plant is also well equipped with an ultra-modern lab to facilitate the routine check of the quality of the fish meal.With its experience & expertise in the industry the plant was ideally suited to set up in the year 2016.Job Summary:The Industrial Relations/Plant HR/Factory HR Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of HR within a manufacturing facility. They ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, manage employee relations, and oversee recruitment, training, and development programs.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with the company's goals and objectives.Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including wage and hour laws, safety regulations, and other employment-related laws.Manageemployee relations, including addressing employee grievances, conflicts, and other workplace issues.Oversee recruitment and selection activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring of candidates.Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.Managecompensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, bonus programs, and employee benefits.Maintain accurate HR records, including personnel files, attendance records, and other HR-related documents.Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.Manageandmentor HR staff, including providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety and environmental policies.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. A master's degree in HR is a plus.Candidate must be in Tamil Nadu, must know local language read & wright.Atleast 4-6 years of experience in HR, must be in manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations, including wage and hour laws, safety regulations, and other employment-related laws.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience managing and mentoring HR staff.Proficient in HRIS and other HR software applications.
