1. Job Overview

The Practice Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting and executing towards strategic & tactical endeavours, special projects & assignments within OSBI. This position involves collaborating closely with key stakeholders, assisting in driving special initiatives, and ensuring the smooth execution of objectives, projects, ideas and plans.

The Executive Director and Group Ops Director are consistently occupied with providing vision & direction to solve operations challenges, prepare for future opportunities, plan for uncirtainties, respond to situations with a single focus on achieve organizational excellence. They need execution support to help them realise thier vision and direction so that they can drive tangelible results. The Practice manager will be responsible for driving business performance through collaboration with various stakeholders, manage high-stake projects and ensuring that key OSBI initiatives are executed efficiently and effectively.



2. Core Responsibilities



Strategic Support (10%):

• Collaborate with the OSBI Executive Director (50%) and Group Operations Director (50%) in executing strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency, customer satisfaction & organizational effectiveness.
• Conduct research on industry trends, competitor analysis, and best practices to provide valuable insights and recommendations.


Execution (50%):

• Oversee the execution of high-impact projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project scopes, timelines, and budgets.
• Develop comprehensive project plans and monitor progress, identifying and mitigating risks as necessary.
• Regularly update the Executive Director/Group Operations Director on project status and outcomes.


Stakeholder Engagement (20%):

• Cultivate strong relationships with OSBI leadership and group stakeholders.
• Act as a representative for the Executive Director in meetings and engagements, conveying business priorities effectively.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and alignment to achieve collective objectives.


OSBI Functional Oversight (20%):

• Analyse operational metrics to identify areas for enhancement and optimization across OSBI functions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to implement process improvements aimed at driving operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and organizational policies.


3. Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management or strategic support roles.
• Experience working in UK banking / financial services is essential.
• Experience in overseeing high-impact projects from inception to completion.
• Experience working with cross functional stakeholders
• Experience in ideation and delivery of strategic outcomes
• Solid experience in communication and project management frameworks


4. Knowledge Requirements

• Understanding of operational metrics and regulatory requirements in banking operations.
• Understanding of project management tools
• Knowledge in customer metrics

6. Required Qualifications/Certifications

• Bachelor's & Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
