Job description D.G.M. / Senior Manager Contracts, Billing and Estimation

Responsibilities

• Preparation and certification of Indent, RA, final and all kind of Bills
• Prepare detailed bill of quantities / Pre-tender estimates.
• Providing billing related information / documents to client and Management/RM as and when required
• Arithmetic & technical checking of all bills i.e. Civil, Carpentry, Aluminum Windows, Finishing, Interior bills, Infrastructure, Plumbing, Firefighting, Electrical work, consultants, & material Invoices etc.
• Material Reconciliation: - To check theoretical consumption of steel, cement & other material supplied free of cost to the contractor and make recovery in case of excess Consumption & wastage.
• Debit Note: - To ensure recovery against the rework / faulty work from the contractors as per recommendation from site.
• Intimating Planning Engineers regarding amendments in Work orders.
• Other Duties specified by Site In-charge or In-charge in Commend.

Responsibilities

• Determine cost estimate targets during the design and development process, recommending cost effective solutions.
• Gather proposals, specifications, and related documents in order to convert specifications to cost estimates.
• Establish cost estimates of production processes and labour costs and review alternatives or put forward recommendations for improvement.
• Monitor and review data and information to detect or assess problems.
• Investigate and identify cost reduction opportunities through cost analysis review.
• Contribute to cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures and monitor trends.
• Prepare cost and expenditure statements, reports, and other necessary documentation at regular intervals to share with management.
• Support all activities in cost estimating and take a proactive approach towards improvements.
• Provide cost estimates during change process and advise of cost impact of changes.
• Ensure supplier quotations meet should cost' estimates.
• Support supplier meetings and negotiations to challenge quotation prices and aim for cost reductions to meet target costs.

Responsibilities :

• Drafting of contracts, work orders and purchase orders.
• Conduct contract negotiations and draft contracts in line with the organization's standard terms and conditions.
• Attend calls with clients for terms and conditions negotiations.
• Contracts Administration and enforcement at the site. Coordination with own team to ensure smooth execution and handover of detailed information.
• Prepare Preliminary Estimates at proposal stages.
• Prepare detailed Comparative Statements.
• Inspection and Verification of Works Measurements.
• Preparing and presenting fortnightly reports to the Management
• Checking and analysing quotations / tenders from contractors / parties. Preparing tender documents, work orders, purchase orders, BOQs, etc.
• Quantity Estimations, Bill Estimations & Budgeting for projects
• Reviewing, negotiating, shortlisting and finalizing contracts with suppliers, contractors, and vendors. Ensure contracts include clear specifications, scope of work, milestones, deliverables, payment terms, and dispute resolution mechanisms. Monitor contract performance and address any issues or disputes that arises.
• Collaborating with project managers, finance, and budgeting teams to establish and monitor project budgets. Implement cost control measures, track expenses, and analyze spending patterns to ensure projects are delivered within budget.

Required Candidate profile

• Well-versed with all activities involved in the construction cycle.
• Completing project pre-planning processes, such as cost estimations and preparing contracts, tenders, and budgeting.
• Negotiating contracts
• Reviewing compliance with federal and local safety guidelines and standards
• Be thorough and pay attention to detail.

Qualification / Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree-B. tech -B.E/ Diploma in Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering,
• Required years of Experience 10-15 in Contracts, Billing, Procurement, Project Co-ordination
• Comfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles
• Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs.
• High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions
• Strong management skills and efficient team player
