Job Description


The role holders would be expected to work with Strategic Business Managers or work independently on projects in driving the business towards decisions in matters of strategic, organizational, operational, and technological investment. Projects Business Analysis/Product Owner/product specialist will be responsible for identifying and documenting the business needs of their clients and stakeholders and helping to determine feasible solutions to meet business needs or resolve business problems
This is a fungible role best suited for a candidate with a CROSS FUNCTIONAL experience across domains (Good to have Oil & Gas and/or Manufacturing) and flexible to work in multiple industries.As a part of BA/consulting team, you will be involved in:

  • Act as a link between the business and the development team to ensure that the requirements are met and help the larger IT team (cross functional /cross skilled) to deliver solution that works for client
  • Experience on a varied range of projects ranging from process improvement, agile transformation, advisory/consulting, digital automation, product development, software implementation, process mapping or/and process focus
  • Elicit requirements from varied stakeholder groups and precisely capture business problems, value drivers, and functional/non-functional requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into functionality and assess the risks, feasibility, opportunities, and business impacts of various solution options. Own end to end documentation of requirements including version control and required signoff from stakeholder groups
  • Able to link technical solutions with business strategy when working with business partners.
  • Assess and model processes, data flows, and technology to understand the current value and issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure traceability of requirements from business needs and requirements, through client demos, UAT and scope changes, to final solution.
  • Interact with vendors, designers, architects, and developers to understand limitations, deliver elements of system design, and ensure that business requirements and use cases are handled.
  • Create acceptance criteria and validate those solutions meet business needs through defining and coordinating testing.
  • Create and present compelling business cases to justify solution value and establish approval, funding, and prioritization.
  • Experience in Gap requirements session, Project and Resource planning, Application Prototype designing (UX), effort estimation and pricing for products
  • Understand and stay abreast of relevant architectures and technologies related to a business area. Research potential solutions and innovative ideas. Guide and manage interactions with technology vendors.
  • Lead stakeholder management activities including facilitation of large design sessions.
  • Takes initiative for leadership roles. Supports the regional networks through leading activities, presenting topics, and coaching others.
  • Broad and extensive knowledge, to provide interpretive, advisory, or facilitating services for the use of others to achieve results.
  • Continuously improve existing business processes and strive to develop new ones to improve efficiency
Primary Skills
  • Master\'s degree in business administration
  • 7+ years of experience working in Agile projects as Business analyst, Product Owner, Proxy Product Owner or/and Product Specialist
  • At least one Domain experience of Oil and Gas and/or Manufacturing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office - Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience with any project management tools such as VSTS, Visio, Jira, Trello, Service Now, Rally and Confluence
  • Participation in RFP mapping and submission, Experience of working on GTM strategy, business development activities.
  • Experience of working agile environment, scrum/Kanban practices and methodologies
  • Must have practiced at requirement management lifecycle and shaping it to deliverable MVP or product features
  • Should be good at working with cross functional teams for solutioning and identifying the opportunities
  • Be a good team player and individual contributor (As required)
  • Excellent communication skills and presentation skills
  • Strong problem-solving and management skills
  • Experience in conducting consulting workshops, design thinking sessions
Secondary Skills
  • Additional domain experience and knowledge of at least one of the sectors BFSI, Retail, FMCG, Telecom industry, Supply chain
  • Data visualization and data analysis experience
  • Additional relevant certification will be an added advantage e.g. CSM/CSPO/SAFe/CCBA/ECBA/CBAP/Prince2 /ITIL/PMI-PBA/ SAP/PMP/ERP/Green Belt/Sig Sigma/ Process improvement
  • Experience working in applications - CRM/Salesforce, P2P (procure to pay), R2R (record to report), ERP, MS dynamics 365, Blue Yonder, Manhattan WMS, SAP Success factor, SAP Payroll, SAP Open Text, etc.
  • Lean Practitioner training and experience are an asset.
  • Be flexible to travel across the globe for long term or short-term assignments (both domestic and international travel required) across different domains as per the project requirement
