Department: Analytical Method Development (R & D)

Location: Rabale-Navi Mumbai

Job Responsibilities

1.Instrumental Analysis - Conduct instrumental analysis of raw, intermediate, and finished materials using various tools such as pH meter, weighing balance, UV-Vis spectrophotometer, GC-FID, GC MS,GC-HSS-MS, HPLC

2. Method Development-Develop new methods for the analysis of raw and finished materials to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the laboratory.

3.Instrument Handling and Calibration-Handle and calibrate instruments including pH meter, weighing balance, UV-Vis spectrophotometer, GC-FID, GC MS, GC-HSS-MS, HPLC, AAS

4.Maintenance and Documentation-Arrange service visits for instrument breakdowns and preventive maintenance.Maintain and review documentation of instrument log books, calibration, analysis, anddaily reports.

5.Literature Review-Conduct literature reviews to stay abreast of the latest developments in analytical methods and technologies.

6.Training-Provide training to new team members and personnel from different plants.

7.Sample Management-Maintain the sample status of daily, weekly, and monthly samples for analysis.

8.Documentation Design-Design Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for different products in all divisions(Home Care/Food/Oil/Agarbatti & perfumery/Health Care/Agro Division & C-QA).

9.Test Instructions-Design test instructions for raw materials and finished goods.

10.Analysis Reports-

Prepare analysis reports as per in-house format in a timely manner

11.Record Maintenance-

Maintain records of instruments like AMC/Installation/Breakdown/Service &

Maintenance reports.

Maintain records of analysis reports, Method development, Method validation,

Analytical Columns, instruments consumables

12 Co-ordination and Support-

Coordinate with all departments in R&D for testing, new method development, QA, and

new projects.Provide technical assistance to team members in analysis and instrument troubleshooting.

Assist all departments in designing products through quality checks of the product and market samples.

13.Quotation Collection-

Collect quotations for third-party testing, instrument consumables, and reference

standards.

Essential Educational Qualifications:

• Master\'s degree in Chemistry Desirable Educational Qualification
• Preferably Master\'s degree in Analytical Chemistry

• Atleast 5 years of experience in handling instruments like HPLC, GC, GC MS, AAS
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in designing SOPs and test instructions.
• Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accurate records.
