Reports To: MRO Purchase Head Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Power Transmission Procurement Manager with a strong background in purchasing bearings, belts, chains, sprockets, motors, pumps, and gearboxes. The ideal candidate will have 7-8 years of experience in procurement, with at least 2 years of team handling experience. The candidate should possess key skills in vendor development, negotiation, procurement processes, SAP Hana S4, and technical expertise in selecting the right components for power transmission systems. Key Responsibilities: • Procurement Management:
• Lead the procurement process for bearings, belts, chains, sprockets, motors, pumps, and gearboxes.
• Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
• Ensure timely and accurate procurement of power transmission components.
• Vendor Development and Management:
• Identify and establish relationships with key vendors and suppliers.
• Evaluate vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Team Leadership:
• Manage and mentor a team of procurement professionals.
• Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and provide training and development opportunities.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
• Process Optimization:
• Streamline and optimize procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Implement best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• SAP Hana S4 Expertise:
• Utilize SAP Hana S4 for procurement operations.
• Ensure accurate data entry and management within the SAP system.
• Generate reports and analyze procurement data to support decision-making.
• Technical Expertise:
• Provide technical expertise in the selection of bearings, belts, chains, sprockets, motors, pumps, and gearboxes.
• Ensure the procurement of high-quality and suitable components for power transmission systems.
• Stay updated with the latest technological advancements in power transmission components.

Key Skills and Qualifications: • Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 7-8 years of experience in procurement, specifically in power transmission components.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in team handling.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in SAP Hana S4.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Technical expertise in bearings, belts, chains, sprockets, motors, pumps, and gearboxes.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
