Job Opportunity: Industrial Chemical Purchase Manager

Position: Industrial Chemical Purchase Manager
Experience: 8-10 years overall, with 3-4 years in team handling
Location: Navi Mumbai
Education: B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or B.Sc in Chemistry

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor Development: Establish and maintain relationships with chemical vendors, ensuring a robust supply chain.
Negotiations: Lead negotiations to secure favorable terms and pricing, while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Delivery Follow-up: Ensure timely delivery of chemical products by coordinating closely with vendors.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve procurement goals.
SAP S/4HANA: Utilize SAP S/4HANA for efficient management of procurement processes.
PR to PO Process: Manage the Purchase Requisition (PR) to Purchase Order (PO) process seamlessly.
Category Management: Oversee category management with a focus on profit and loss analysis.
Chemical COA: Knowledgeable in Certificate of Analysis (COA) of chemicals to ensure compliance and quality standards.
Qualifications:

B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or B.Sc in Chemistry.
8-10 years of experience in industrial chemical procurement.
3-4 years of experience in handling and leading procurement teams.
Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and strong understanding of the PR to PO process.
Proven experience in vendor development, negotiations, and delivery follow-up.
Strong analytical skills with experience in profit and loss analysis.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
