Then read on!We are currently seeking a Medial and Scientific Affairs Manager who will be responsible for supporting our global Medical and Scientific Affairs team. This position serves as the principal interface between the business and stakeholders in the global scientific community, including key experts and customers in clinical and research laboratories, professional societies, government agencies, advocacy groups, and other customers/market influencers. Additionally, this position supports a broad range of internal cross-functional activities, working closely with marketing, sales, research & development, clinical affairs, and regulatory affairs to ensure alignment between the business strategy and activities in the flow cytometry market.In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Develop and drive Medical & Scientific Affairs initiatives to support the companys global strategic goals. by establishing and maintaining relationships with key customers and experts and coordinating collaborations with academic partners and other outside institutions.
  • Evaluate new product proposals, both internal and external and assist in new product development as a core team member. Develop and deliver educational content directed at both internal and external stakeholders. Support manuscript writing and grant proposals. Anticipate and evaluate market drivers, including regulatory and reimbursement policies as well as changing practice guidelines.
  • Generate scientific awareness of Beckman Coulter Life Sciences products pre- and post- launch. Ensure compliance with internal and external policies, guidelines, and regulations.
The required qualifications for the job include:MD, PhD, or MD/PhD degree with 5+ years of experience in clinical medicine (hospital, university hospital, teaching hospital) plus strong knowledge in flow cytometry in either hematopathology, immunology, and/ or cell biology, cell and gene therapy. Up to 50% domestic and international travel is required for this position to participate in professional associations, standardization consortia and and meeting advocacy organizations. Obtain "Voice of Customer" via interviews, focus groups and market research activities. Present data on product performance or other relevant materials at national and international meetings to increase portfolio visibility.At Beckman Coulter Life Sciences we believe in designing a better, more sustainable workforce.
