:JOB DESCRIPTION, ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITYJob Summary:Responsible for driving NPI programs end to end from ISC perspective. Understanding Project and Product requirement, Providing assessment of tooling requirements and equipment upgrades, conducting DFM reviews, tool accessibility using Solid Edge, PFMEA, issue RFQs, conduct formal supplier design review, clear tooling for manufacturing, line or Equipment upgrades or new machine planning as required to meet the new product requirement, order and get tooling, conduct Homologation ODT & PPAP and note down all open points and close it before next event at each stage and ready for SOP.Training and development of technical team on the new technology, provide project documentation to plant team, close all points related to NPI and plant handover of the project.Roles and Responsibilities:# Responsible to manage project end to end from ISC perspective and adherence to all project deliverables, like timeline, productivity and cost requirements.# Understanding project and customer requirements, coordinating with Program Management team and Technical team in managing smooth Homologation, ODT, PPAP and SOP.# Responsible for upgrades lines or equipment and new equipment planning as per NPI requirement and make line ready in terms of Technology, Traceability & Capacity availability.# As a project leader, drives the project at every step to make sure timelines are met and the deliverables.# Responsible for all the decisions taken for the project execution in terms of technical and timeline requirements.# Leads the project NPI meeting and drives to close all open issues on time.# Responsible for Preparing Specification book for new machines# Responsible for the training of technical teams on the new technologies.# Responsible for adherence to all the GEM, safety and environmental rules related to the project.# Assure the continuous improvement in his area by using Kaizen, RCA and Gemba.# Responsible to execute project HS & E risk assessment and define actions# Drive the Escalation Process and quick problem resolution# Responsible for recognition of good work of employees by proper nominations for R & R.Skills and Knowledge Required:# Has the ability Influence, motivate and drive cross functional teams.# Strong manufacturing process knowledge and hands on expertise in assembly manufacturing processes.# Excellent knowledge of machine, process & Tooling Design & Development for assembly processes for NPI.# Hands on experience on usage of Manufacturing quality tools line PFD, PFMEA, Control plans etc.# Excellent hands on knowledge about Siemens PLC (S7 - 300, 1200, 1500) programming and troubleshooting.# Expertise in Siemens Sinamics, V90, Simotion D drives.# Expertise in Vision systems Cognex and Keyence.# Hands on Knowledge using Lean Tools for Betterment of Process.# Has good analytical skills, ability to quickly understand and identify issues and drive quick resolution.# Knowledge and hands on with program management tools.# Ensuring the delivery of new products or services from projects is to the appropriate level of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the program plan and governance arrangements# Excellent oral and written communication skills with meticulous follow up and reporting capabilities.# Ability to command respect and to create a sense of community amongst the members of the project teams.# Managing the program budget, monitoring expenditure and costs against delivered and realized benefits as the program progresses.# Good knowledge of IATF/ISO TS standards related to manufacturing and process.# Ability to use 3D tools like Solid Edge or equivalent to be able to complete tooling accessibility study on the product and tooling 3Ds.# Understands CSR and able to incorporate them in the project.# Initiating extra activities and other management interventions wherever gaps in the program are identified or issues arise.Experience and Education Required:# University degree, BE/B Tech, Electronic / Electronics & Telecommunication / Mechatronic engineering is Must.# 6-8 or more years of previous experience in manufacturing or Automation or Machine building is must.# Six Sigma green / black belt preferred# Experience of working in Cross Functional team and influencing teamsAbout Us:This is an exciting time to join Garrett Motion!
