Job Description


This role will sit in the Benchmark & Index Solutions Business Marketing team and will be responsible for a range of customer touchpoints including onboarding and behaviour-triggered and batch email campaigns to expand customer usage across a broader set of our index solutions, increase customer engagement, and drive customer loyalty. A key retention strategy for FTSE Russell is our Co-Marketing program where we partner with our Asset Manager clients and Exchange Partners to implement marketing programs that help grow assets under management in FTSE Russell index-linked products such as ETFs, mutual funds, and derivatives. This role will also support the implementation of Co-Marketing tactics such as joint webinars and events, emails, social media programs, and internal training sessions for our Clients\' internal distribution networks. Core Responsibilities You will be supporting the Benchmark & Index Solutions Business Marketing team in the execution of the marketing plans. You will work with cross-functional teams including strategy, field marketing, content, and digital to deliver high quality marketing programs. You\'ll be working on a range of email campaigns to expand and enhance our relationships with existing clients to drive usage of our indices and deepen engagement with our Research content. Email campaigns will include client newsletters and Research updates. You\'ll be supporting the implementation of our Co-Marketing programs, delivering joint webinars and local market events, emails, social media programs, and training sessions. You\'ll be working on the overall user experience strategy focused on email messaging, outlining, and executing testing plans, and leveraging marketing automation tools to deliver automated, personalized, relevant, marketing streams integrating a culture of testing across the user experience team. Working on delivering specific campaigns, you\'ll ensure the optimal mix of digital channels is aligned with any other marketing activity and continually optimized to deliver trackable user engagement with strategic FTSE Russell and LSEG platforms. You\'ll be managing multiple marketing tactics simultaneously which may include advertising, social media, physical / virtual events, media initiatives, partnership marketing, and sales support. You\'ll be monitoring digital marketing budgets, including processing of invoices if necessary and monitoring of annual spending. Make use of analytics as a basis for resolving tactics to use and report on performance against benchmarks. Experience Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and you\'ll have attention to detail, tenacity, and a focus on results, working patiently with cross-organizational teams. Extensive experience in direct / online marketing you\'ll have working knowledge of email planning and execution. You will understand privacy issues, customer preferences, list requirements and best practices in email design and testing strategies. You\'ll have experience tracking email analytics, evaluating test results and defining next steps based on email engagement metrics Event management experience, and experience in running Webinars, preferably on the BrightTalk channel. A Batchelors degree or relevant experience Proven experience in B2B marketing to the financial markets\' community. Strong previous experience in a digital or email marketing role Experience using Eloqua (or equivalent marketing automation platform) to create emails, landing pages, marketing segments and campaign canvases Extensive knowledge and/or experience of working with a CDP is an advantage. An analytical mind, with proven history of analyzing and improving campaign tactics to drive revenue. Demonstrate superior attention to detail, accuracy, and initiative. Experience leading metrics driven marketing campaign planning and assessment. Demonstrated experience in test and iterate approaches to optimizing campaign performance.
