The Other Hardlines (Categories include Home, Kitchen, Furniture, Sports, Lawn & Garden, Automotive, Business & Industrial Equipment, Home Improvement) Marketing Team is looking for a customer obsessed, think big, result-oriented marketing leader to lead discovery initiatives for all categories at a business unit level. Our mission is to create a world-class shopping experience where customers will discover, research, and buy from the largest selection of home products in India. Joining the marketing team means partnering with a dynamic and creative group who set a high bar for innovation and success in a fast-paced and changing environment. We are looking for a talented, smart and entrepreneurial marketing professional who will be responsible for driving customer adoption for cutting edge customer-facing innovations aiding discoverability of selection for tens of millions of products across Home categories. The Sr. Marketing Manager will also be responsible for ongoing optimization and driving merchandizing excellence across categories via all discovery channels (gateway & key category pages/stores), holding the design charter for the PL, driving the entire automation & personalization charter for the PL along with Vernacular charter & Product marketing where needed.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Owning gateway channel for Home categories and raising the bar on communication to customers entering through gateway
  • Define & work on the GW & +1 pages Automation & Personalization charter working closely with central teams.
  • Define merchandizing strategies across customer facing pages and partner with marketing teams across categories to align towards a common strategy
  • Own and raise the bar for customer facing design & communication across touch points
  • Partner with central teams to create new partnerships as avenues for driving incremental traffic for OHLF categories
  • Develop scalable ways to automate and report performance & areas of opportunity across free and paid traffic channels
  • Establishing guidelines and best practices across teams, including guiding other marketing resources to identify areas of opportunity to optimize traffic and/or merchandizing
  • Owning and enabling customers to discover what they are looking to buy from tens of millions of products available across home categories
  • Partnering with product teams to drive customer adoption of global and local innovations, helping create a highly personalized shopping experience and enabling discoverability of products for customers looking to shop for their home
  • Understand customer behavior and pass back data & insights to product teams in order to prioritize their roadmap & double down on key focus areas
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • MBA from premium institute with 5+ years of experience in marketing, ecommerce, program and/or product management
  • Experience in operating, managing, and delivering results in a customer-facing online retail/services marketing or product management role
  • Proven success in delivering online products and services in a high growth environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects - prioritization, planning and task delegation
  • Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast paced environment
  • Ability to use hard data and metrics to make and support decisions. High proficiency with Excel
  • Proven ability to manage large and complicated projects with experience leading cross-functional projects and teams
  • Strong alignment to Amazon\'s Leadership Principles

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience managing teams
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
- Experience communicating results to stakeholders
- Experience guiding creative input, development and execution from concept to completion

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience using SQL to pull data and metrics to deliver reports
- Experience with basic HTML, website management and content management systems (CMS)
