Company DescriptionManager, Engineering ChennaiAs a QA Engineer in NIQ Activate, you will be a vital part of the NIQ Activate R&D team and will be responsible
for ensuring that the software received by clients is incredibly stable and bug-free. Using manual and
automated testing, you will find and report issues with our solution, approve the quality of releases, and
perform verifications on customers' pre-production environment.
Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications and systems do their job flawlessly. If you are
skilled at executing test cases and care about product quality, we'd like to meet you.Responsibilities

• Review and analyze system specifications.
• Collaborate with QA engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
• Execute manual test cases and analyze results
• Help troubleshoot issues
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Evaluate product code according to specifications
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
• Work with cross-functional scrum teams to ensure quality throughout the software development
• lifecycle

Qualifications

• Must have: At least 10+ years of proven experience with manual testing as a QA Engineer or in a similar role
• At least 4 years of QA experience with production products.
• BSc/ BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Experience in QA methodologies
• Capable of writing SQL queries to support testing
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to details
• Analytical mind and problem-solving attitude
• Strong organizational skills
• Activate R&D - Manual QA Engineer
• An Advantage -Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing
• Experience with tools like JIRA , Zephyr Scale or similar, Confluence
• Experience with tools like Jenkins, Git
• Gherkin BDD languag
