Manager Legal

Reviewing and advising on Commercial Contracts:

- Drafting, negotiating and managing all company contracts including international contracts - PPA, EPC, procurement, O&M and likes.

- Participate in Contract negotiations individually and jointly based on our approach with an objective of achieving favorable outcomes for the company.

- Staying up to date with finer nuances of commercial and legal contracts being negotiated in industry: with Vendors, Power Purchasers, Partners and other stakeholders.

- Defining company\'s customized approach to commercial contracts.

Land, Litigation & Internal processes:

- Title due diligence, land acquisition, real estate documentation for acquisition of land for renewable energy projects, standardization of real estate documents, processes, advising on stamp duty for real estate transactions, coordinating with external lawyers for title due diligence.

- Handling & advising on litigations as and when required.

- Working with internal and external stakeholders on agreements, undertakings, deeds, etc.

- Develop & improvise legal systems & processes. Update management on all legal issues.

- Legal & compliance support in strategic transactions including acquisitions, divestments, private equity participation by Strategic Investors etc.

- Create awareness of compliance with relevant laws and regulations and ensure adherence

Updating management on :

- Legal and statutory landscape w.r.t. Renewable energy & Power generation with specific focus on IPP, Joint Bidding Agreements (JBAs) and regulations from ERCs across India.

- Legal issues involved in transactions and impact of changes in law on business.

- Contract performance, exception management (extension, termination, claims etc.)
