DataLabs is looking for Legal, Compliance and Secretarial lead to spearhead our foray into autonomous and intelligent data products that solve the full gamut of business and analytical needs. This role involves working with heads of lines of businesses in our Financial Services division to understand contemporary business needs, lead analytical teams to make impactful and actionable offers, and work with Engineering groups to lead tech delivery of large product builds. The role encompasses recruiting, developing and motivating an exceptional team that is drawn from elite campuses in India and abroad, and focused on our mission to develop world class data products.

A day in the life of a Capital One Legal, Compliance and Secretarial lead.

As a Legal, Compliance and Secretarial lead you\'ll have dynamic responsibilities associated with Capital One India\xe2\x80\x99s month-end closing and financial reporting processes, helping to ensure a timely and accurate month-end close and financial reporting for our growth-oriented organization. You will assist in the compilation of reports and analysis to support management review of financial results. Management of all the audits and compliance with statutory compliances will form an integral part of job. You will also work with an outstanding team to identify issues and collaborate on recommended solutions.

Responsibilities:

\xe2\x97\x8f Responsible for Legal/Secretarial function for the office.

\xe2\x97\x8f Preparation, conduct and compliances for all Board and CSR meetings. \xe2\x97\x8f Draft policies, responsible for all third-party contracts and compliance function for the office.

\xe2\x97\x8f Finalization of Transfer Pricing/Tax APA with regulators.

\xe2\x97\x8f Preparation, conduct and compliances for all Board and CSR meetings. \xe2\x97\x8f Responsible for Legal due diligence, audits, and legal opinions for the company. \xe2\x97\x8f Ideate, conceptualize, and implement process improvements.

Qualifications and skill sets:

\xe2\x97\x8f LLB/LLM(Premier institute), Qualified Company Secretary and Chartered Accountant.

\xe2\x97\x8f 6-10 years of post-qualification experience.

\xe2\x97\x8f Experience in the big 4 audit firms in audit OR a law firm OR Practicing CA/CS would be advantage.

\xe2\x97\x8f Excellent communication - verbal and written.
