This work is backed by a business development team responsible for building business potential in the region and networking with the regulatory authorities and government agencies to promote interest in our businesses.POSITION SUMMARY \xe2\x80\x93 Manager IT, PACE TechnologyIncumbent is expected to join TSV PACE engineering team at Textron India and will be responsible to lead develop a talented and capable team of server developers, Android developers, firmware developers and database administration capabilities. It is expected He/ She will take part in a fast-paced work environment with tasks consisting of software development, troubleshooting, documentation, and strategic technological or process improvements.Principle Responsibilities:Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to the team in a direct reporting structure.Manage staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation.Promotes talent development programs and activities.Plans, manages, and reports performance of all PACE resources. Develop and maintain resource succession planning for all PACE resources.Project Management includes forecasting, resource allocation, create/develop business cases to augment staff levels with temporary and fulltime resources for assigned projects.Establish and build collaborative relationships with PACE managers, onsite teams, and representatives to assure seamless and timely execution of approved work initiatives.Regularly working across multiple time zones to facilitate the appropriate transition of work activities.Develop and improve workflow and communication processes.Knowledge & ExperienceAround 10 years of IT experience. 3+ years management/leadership experience in leading IT product/project/support teams.IT project management and project execution experience.5+ years Server developer/Administration experience required.Good Exposure in mobile application development (Android).Demonstrated ability to apply creativity in solving complex business problems.Basic understanding of human resource management principles, practices, and procedures.Personal AttributesExcellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to conduct and direct research into IT issues and products.Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Expertise in design, development, and deployment of enterprise level business applicationsWell versed with latest technology trends, New-age IT solutions, Cloud based IT solutions.QualificationsQualification: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree (or 4-year University equivalent) in computer science or information systems. Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree (or 6-year University equivalent) in computer science, information systems management with min 8 to 10 years experience .
