We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager Investigative Reporting In this role, you will:

  • Provide a centralised area of Risk Compliance expertise and deliver a number of core advisory roles and responsibilities
  • Prepare report on any Risk & Controls anomalies extracted and analysed from Helios
  • Review and approval of Asset management marketing materials, Review of Outsourced Compliance Assessments
  • Administration of Staff lists, New Starters process and Management Information
  • Understand Group policy, Asset Management and Risk Compliance procedures. Identification of local requirements associated to core AM Risk
Compliance advisory activities offshored
  • Support local line management in embedding the Asset Management Risk Compliance GSC Bangalore team to become fully operational
  • Exercise effective management control on all Asset Management Global Service Centre Risk Compliance activities and ensure all relevant
regulatory standards are complied with
  • Be aware of operational Risk scenario associated with the role and act in a manner that takes account of operational risk considerations
  • The role holder is a member of the AM Global Regulatory Compliance Bangalore team
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
  • Demonstrable ability to clearly and concisely articulate risks, issues and areas of escalation; supporting recommendations with logic and reason through a range of media, including in written risk reports, email / memo style, and in verbal interactions
  • Identification and management on all applicable regulatory, compliance and operational risk matters
  • Good understanding of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles, Asset Management Conduct programme
  • Good understanding of Group policies, Asset Management, Risk Compliance procedures and the identification of local requirements associated to core AM RC advisory activities offshored
  • Foster positive and professional working relationships with AM business and AM RC, to drive forward Asset Management strategy
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills including presentation skills (PowerPoint/excel/teams)





Requirements

What you will need to succeed in the role: This is an entry level investigative role Essential
  • Money Laundering investigations experience including understanding transaction monitoring scenarios
  • Experience of identifying activity indicative of financial crime risk, i.e. money laundering, terrorist financing, etc. risk
  • Experience in undertaking investigations/analysis into customer activity with the ability to draw inferences from noted behavior, including transactional profile, against expectation established from KYC/CDD data
  • Experience in writing reports
  • Proven high quality spoken and written communication skills with the ability to draft reports and communicate conclusions effectively, in a clear, concise and professional manner
Desirable
  • Universal banking experience across Retail, Commercial and Banking and Markets
  • Familiarity and experience with transaction monitoring and associated systems and case management systems
  • Experience with banking core customer data management systems
  • Consistently achieve objectives set and take action to improve own performance
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Collaborative working style with colleagues and broader stakeholders within a cross-border and LoB matrix organization
  • Prior regulatory or law enforcement investigations experience is advantageous
  • ACAMS or International Compliance Association (ICA) certificate/diploma, or equivalent qualifications
