All of our commercial projects seek third party environmental certification at the highest available certification level.Job PurposeWe are seeking a highly skilled Architect and Interior Designer with a strong focus on sustainabilityto join Godrej Fund Management. This role will involve conceptualizing, designing, and overseeingthe implementation of architectural and interior design solutions for projects, providing customiseddesign parameters while enhancing design standards, improving customer experience, andupgrading the designed product.Roles & Responsibilities:Architectural Design:

• Lead the architectural/interior design process for commercial properties, ensuring designs

align with sustainability principles and organizational goals.

• Do a risk-assessment analysis for design revisions in response to the market standards &

requirements, presenting different case scenarios.

• Design manages processes that integrate sustainable building practices, energy efficiency,

and environmental stewardship.

• Collaborate with project teams, including engineers, contractors, and consultants, to

integrate sustainable design strategies throughout all project phases

• Review and verify designs proposed by external architects in various regions, ensuring

customer-centric design and compliance with standard design principles.

• Coordinate with all cross-discipline consultants to ensure a well-coordinated design

packages taking care of parameters of cost, schedule, quality, constructability and liaison.Interior Design:

• Plan and design interior spaces that enhance functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability.
• Select sustainable materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures that meet project requirements
• and environmental standards.
• Create interior design concepts and presentations that communicate design intent and

sustainable features to stakeholders.

• Define all elements of interior design along with FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment),

collaborating with other functions such as Contracts & Procurement, Operations, Costing &

• Budgeting for cost closure of approved components.

Project Management:

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from initial concept through construction

completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and sustainability targets.

• Coordinate with external vendors, suppliers, and construction teams to oversee the

implementation of sustainable design elements.

• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance

with design specifications and sustainability standards.

• Manage the design process using program/time awareness and technical expertise, setting

up standards for various product components such as finishing materials and executiondetails.

• Conduct timely meetings and presentations with management, implementing and tracking

ongoing strategic projects to create consistency and standardization.Sustainability Leadership:

• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and innovations in sustainable design and

construction.

• Advise clients and internal teams on sustainable building strategies, certifications (e.g., LEED,

BREEAM), and regulatory requirements.

• Champion sustainability initiatives within the organization and promote sustainable design

principles to clients and stakeholders.

• Adopt best practices that promote sustainability and net-zero developments.

Customer Experience:

• Ensure drawing quality and on-time delivery, collaborating with operations teams to execute

drawings without deviations through audits.

• Collaborate with external consultants to strengthen the program and create a standard

library of designs/components.

• Deliver quality products within budget, enhancing customer experience through strategic

design and implementation.Research & Development:

• Conduct continuous research on real estate and correlated industries, design concepts, materials, and technologies to assess adoption within GFM, creating value for the business and customers.
• Assess integration of relevant innovations to create differentiation based on micro-market pain points.

Experience:9 - 12 yearsSkills:

• \xc2\xb7 Proven experience in architectural and interior design roles, with a focus on sustainable design practices for commercial properties.
• \xc2\xb7 Proficiency in CAD software, BIM tools, and graphic design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
• \xc2\xb7 Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and sustainability certifications.
• \xc2\xb7 Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
