Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Procurement Planning and Schedule adherence for import and Export. Ensuring Cost Optimisation for International Logistics, Freight consolidation, Long term contracts for AFS business. Building long term relationship with Service providers in International Logistics and Customs Clearances. Benchmark best practices and develop a future ready Logistics strategy. Drive digitisation of key Logistics process. Collection and compliance including on time Export Incentives, Remittances, Claims and Refunds, Tariff and Classification disputes. Ensure an engaged and agile Logistics team. Builds in global trends and perspectives into all actions and decision making and helps business or function prepare for changes.

Sourcing and Commercial Settlement for Medicines and Medical Equipments requirements for the Organisation.Negotiations with various Distributors and service providers.

Having a thorough and deep understanding of the Medical Industry.

Knowing and understanding of the key management processes and procedures involved in the procuring Medicines and Medical Equipment. Should know what all safety certificates are required like FDA, etc.

RFX activities, Supplier selection, Supplier Due diligence, Negotiation, Tactical buying, Contract management (includes creation)

Ensuring a quick turnaround time to meet the organisation requirements for a PR to PO process

Conduct Negotiations and Achieve Target Price as jointly decided by senior management

Award contracts/Empanel vendors as per approval of senior management and close communication with the user department

Present key updates, issues to senior management and seek support for the bottlenecking wherever required

Liaise with legal department wherever necessary

Identify competent service provider base

Market intelligence on Pharma Industry

Experience in handling Pharma Industry Distributors/ Companies

Hands on experience in SAP Ariba, SAP, Advance Excel, MIS & Analysis

Automobile Education Qualification

Post - Graduate with any background with good negotiation skills
General Experience

7-10 Years Experience in Indirect Procurement handling Medicines and Medical Equipment
Critical Experience
Minimum 15+ Years of Experience, largely in Import, Exports and Logistics.Knowledge of International Logistics Processes and documentation.exposure of Collection and compliance including on time Export Incentives,Remittances, Claims and Refunds, Tariff and Classification disputes Mahindra Leadership Competencies
