Job Description


Responsibilities- * Build business by promoting company brand and ensure product approvals by visiting customers including influencers (Consultants, Architects, PMCs etc.) to generate leads help grow the sales, maintaining relationships with clients.

  • Proactive planning to visit customers within given market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
  • Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
  • Set up meetings between client decision makers and company practice leaders.
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company\'s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
  • Generate monthly MIS reports including approvals received, Enquiries generated and ongoing approvals, visit plans to the influencers versus actual data as desired by management. Maintaining sales/BD systematic for regular business review in given CRM format.
  • Ensure total customer satisfaction in his assigned territory.
  • Jointly work with Sales team in territory for to grow the sales with End customers / consultants / Architects / Electrical Contractors etc. focussing on business development and product approval aspects.
  • Market and Competitor tracking for new product launches, its technical parameter comparison with own products.
  • To make technical presentations to identified customers in given market and industry segments for company product approvals.
  • To Study relevant IS/IEC/BS Standards for wires and cables, develop knowledge and represent to customers effectively to convince about KEI range of products superiority.
Qualifications & Experience-Diploma/Degree (Engineeering - Eletrical/EEE)Should have 6-10 years of industry experienceShould have worked in BD/Technical Sales domain for electrical ( LV Switchgear, Modular Switch Sockets, MCVDB, Wires & Cables), Building material products in the given geography.Should have worked with Government department (CPWD/PWD/MES/State Bridge/Road Corporation/police Housing Boards/Electricity Distribution/Transmission/Generation Cos (Pvt &PSU both), Industrial customers in F&B, Metal, Power Generation, X-Mission distribution, Textile, Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas, Pulp & Paper etc. Electrical Contractors, Builder Developers.Should have the skills sets/ pair to compare products technically and communicate effectively to target audience (CPWD/PWD/MES/State Bridge/Road Corporation/police Housing Boards/Electricity Distribution/Transmission/Generation Cos (Pvt &PSU both), Electrical/Consultants/MEP/Architects, Interior Designer, PMC)Experience of working with Electrical/Consultants/MEP/Architects, Interior Designer, PMC (Project Management Consultants) and other Influencer is mandatory and Government Department for product approval.Sound have Technical knowledge of wire and cable is desirable but not mandatory, should have sound technical fundamentals and penchant for technical selling.Should be adaptable, flexible and willing to travel (15-20 Days) per month.Other Details-Location - MumbaiCTC - 18 LPA MaxNotice Period - 1 month maxPreferred Industry - Electrical
