Role Summary/Purpose: Manager (individual contributor) role is a part of India Analytics Hub (IAH). Our Analytics team comprises of data analysts who focus on improving customer/product/digital/ journey experience etc. and growth by providing full stack descriptive to prescriptive analytics via cutting edge technologies to support business objectives. The candidate would be part of the IAH - Decision Management - Innovation Analytics team providing valuable expertise in application/solution development for analytics use cases enabling Synchrony\'s growth and profitability. The candidate must be passionate about data products, analytics solutions and applications, keen on learning new technologies. The role will require working/coordinating with the project manager/stakeholders. This position is remote, where you have the option to work from home. On occasion we may request for you to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and culture events. Essential Responsibilities: Lead and Support the development, maintenance of the web based Analytics Platform initiative Provide technology consulting to stakeholders and team for building analytics solution design, implementation. Design, build front end, backend of analytics platform review security issues and release to production by working with security and release management teams Create customized visualizations in D3JS and ChartJS libraries, integrated into existing applications Write ETL scripts to extract data from multiple data sources (i.e. Hadoop, Oracle, text files etc.) and load into application database Should have good working knowledge in Python, JavaScript, Java, NodeJS, HTML and MySQL to deliver solutions across JavaScript, python and Java tech stacks Communicating business results/interpretations with clients and peers Ability to generate innovative ideas and work on them which would have significant business impact Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or another quantitative field with 2-5 years\' of full stack experience OR in lieu of a degree, 4-7 years of full stack experience. Good working knowledge on JavaScript, NodeJS, Java /Python and SQL Experience in developing full stack web applications using NodeJS, Flask and React frameworks. Experience in scripting using python, bash and SQL Experience in creating visualizations using D3JS and Chart JS Working knowledge of SAS scripts and their execution flow Exposure to MVC design pattern for building applications Effective communication skills For Internal Applicants: Understand the criteria or mandatory skills required for the role, before applying.
