Job Description

Position: Dy. Manager / Manager - Imports & Documentation,

Location - Kundli, Sonipat

Experience - 10 to 12 years,

Salary Budget - 40 to 50 k/pm (Negotiable)

Qualification - MBA with SCM / materials management or relevant qualification,

Preference - Candidate from electronics products background will be given preference.

Software Knowledge - Should be versed with SAP - B1 or higher version,

Required by Date = At the earliest.

:-

1. Import duty calculation, Checking of Bill of Entry and Verification for Shipping Bill filling, Preparing B/L draft.

2. Coordinate and manage all aspects of the import process, including documentation, custom clearance and transportation / logistics.

3. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and trade agreements related to imports.

4. Review and verify import documentation, such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.

5. Classify imported goods according to the Harmonized System (HS) codes and determine the appropriate duty rates and customs fees.

6. Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues or delays that may arise.

7. Responsible for handling independently imports documentation.

8. Handling of all compliances being related to imports.

9. Responsible for all legal formalities being related to imports shipment, CHA, Custom clearance.

10. Co-ordination & follow up with all concerned parties being related to legal documentation & shipment of imports materials.

11. Adherence to SOPs designed for procurement of materials from overseas.

12. Proper filing and record keeping for future use.

13. Other such activities as and when required by the management.
