The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the end to end supply chain whilst supervising a team covering Vendor Management, Demand Planning, Purchasing, Freight (Inbound & Outbound), Warehousing & Distribution, Material Master, Inventory Management, Project management and Contract management. Being the link between sales, marketing, finance and business operations, this role needs to ensure that any supply chain issues / initiatives are communicated back to the business. Supervisory Responsibilities: Essential Responsibilities: 1. Manage the end to end supply chain objectives: Undertake all key activities of SCM to manage the assigned business Unit effectively Monitor & ensure targets of functional team is met 2. Manage the functional staff Set individual and functional objectives Discuss work progress on both group and individual level Oversee that workload is divided in such a matter that goals can be met on time Manage the existing knowledge level Own 3pl KPI\'s and monitor accordingly 3. Manage the departmental budget Calculate the budget needed to meet Functional plans Monitor the budget throughout the year Make adjustments/optimize where needed supply chain cost and cost optimization for the business 4. Process Improvement Analyze and review current work processes Improvise / develop & implement new work methods or systems 5. Project Management Monitor and Execute assigned projects Ensure Projects are executed with optimal Supply chain Cost Ensure Cost optimization and project improvement 7. Sales & Business plan Support Ensure short-term changes to the Sales plan with support of the agreed volume levels within the Supply Chain plan. Business Process Redesign / implementation Work with the Sales team in terms of Demand Forecasting & providing Inventory visibility & the Sales pipeline to the Operations Head / Business Head. 8. Warehouse and Distribution Management Warehouse and Distribution Management in order to minimize transportation cost and maximize customer service Optimization of inventory levels Enhance Turnaround time from Order to Execution by ways of continuous process improvement Continuous monitoring to ensure optimal utilization of warehouse in terms of capacity / infrastructure / resource KPI management / tracking of 3PL Inbound & outbound Logistics management thru partners 9. Vendor & Product Management Interact with the Global counterparts, Central Planning team, Inter companies & Vendors for timely supply of materials as per the sales Plan Ensuring regular co-ordination with the team to ensure smooth flow of information & materials. Manage on time and on quantity delivery by proactively working with cross-functional teams and secure long lead time components are available to support sales request Manage demand and supply issues proactively by involving respective cross-functional teams, regions, closely monitor supply schedule, try every best to secure customers\' demand fulfilled per request Manage product\'s life cycle from supply perspective by proactive work with cross-functional teams and coordinating EOL and phasing out of the products based on line chart Closely work with Category Management team for NPI launch / Phase out planning Basic Qualifications: 15+ years\' experience in SCM Exemplary management skills Excellent communication and negotiation skills Experience of working with China ODMs and other Asian suppliers Experience of running or being part of USD 50 million+ (sales) supply chain operation Very good understanding of SAP / IBP tools and other supply chain/warehouse management systems Knowledge of departmental and organizational discipline Experience in leading a team Desired Characteristics: Masters degree is a plus. Ability to influence and drive change. Possess advanced skills in cross-cultural awareness, leadership, influencing, communication, problem solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution. Experience in building processes, metrics, controls, governance, and organization necessary to deliver mission critical projects. Good communication and negotiation skills Solid hands-on understanding of all aspects of supply chain (demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, warehousing, pricing) Good knowledge of India 3PL (3rd party logistics) providers Preferably from the Consumer Electronics industry Eligibility Requirements: Willingness to travel 20% of the time.
