As the Manager of Intelligent Automation Operations & System Management professional, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing operations for a portfolio of IT automation systems. Leading a team, including onboarding, hiring, engagement, and development.
  • Ensuring talent retention through motivation and clear advancement paths. Coaching and mentoring employees to build agile and professional competencies.
  • Overseeing budgeting, including people and system budgets. Facilitating cross-organizational knowledge sharing. Supporting transformation and transition initiatives.
  • Aligning expectations and communication with leadership and stakeholders. Managing SLAs, budgets, contracts, and communications for automation platforms.
  • Engaging with business owners and vendors to plan system strategies. Reviewing progress on strategic initiatives and ensuring compliance and audit readiness.
  • Participating in regular planning meetings with key stakeholders.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
  • Masters or Graduate degree in relevant field (Software Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration).
  • 10+ years of experience in IT operations management within a large set up. 5+ years in people leading role. 3+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry is good to have.
  • Proven people management skills.
  • Experience in managing IT systems, IT support, IT operations, and digital innovation. Good experience in escalation management.
  • Ability to identify, define, and develop solutions to complex issues in existing systems or processes.
  • Experience in overseeing multiple digital and IT areas within an organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with external parties, primarily users.
  • Ability to represent Novo Nordisk in relations with users and external stakeholders.
  • Team player and Knowledge of automation technologies.

The Intelligent Automation CoE, established in 2017, helps set the roadmap for automation at Novo Nordisk. Our department manages technologies, platforms, and supports digital solutions across Novo Nordisk.
