Full Electrical quantity surveying and cost management duties BOQ validation based on applicable Indian and international electrical standards for 400 kV Switchyards (AIS & GIS), solar projects, Hydel projects, etc. Ensure that the systems and processes are in place to develop, maintain a log and certify completed works volumes according to contract Bills of Quantities Ability to lead with a commercial mind-set and technical background Provision of pre contract feasibility and viability advice; and Post contract services Understand the DPRs of various power projects and work closely with Design, PMC, C&P teams to ensure the accurate deliverables Understanding of electrical component parts of a project and overall construction costs Make best use of MS Office suite in particular MS Project and MS Excel and ensure that the projects\' progress and costs are intact Involvement in bidding for new opportunities & attending interviews for new projects Feasibility and cost planning, procurement advice, tender documentation and post contract services Support in cost planning in the design stage of construction to budget Review and certify Contractor Interim Payment Certificates Ensure the matters relating to contract value and percentage completion for works execution at the site are confirming to the Standards Work closely with the project planners to feed accurate progress into the planning system Assist the Project Manager and Contracts Administrator as required in commercial and contractual issues. Work closely with his Subcontractor counterparts in certifying progress claims for monthly payment, and maintain full control of construction costs
