The Enterprise Digital Experiences Team Member (EDX) is responsible for the product management of American Express proprietary digital products - Amex Mobile App, Web, Identity, Digital Commerce & Customer Personalization. The Customer Personalization team is looking to build its Product Development footprint in India, with this manager playing a key role in helping evolve key Personalization products, accelerating growth and embedding personalization across the Enterprise.We are looking for a self-starter who can lead teams across business, technologies, and data science to achieve our goals. The candidate will represent our team to leaders across the Company, help define the product roadmap, strengthen digital engagement with our customers, and fortify our capabilities. Set the vision for Personalization experiences in key channels, identifying opportunities to drive cross-channel journeys while working in tandem with the partner product teams, Decision Science and Engineering partners to enhance personalization engines to achieve that vision.
Develop features and user stories to support product and program goals.
Partner with Engineering to lead scrum teams on a day-to-day basis.
Drive the scrum team roadmap, prioritization, and development for new features and capabilities.
Think critically about the evolution of personalization, and the evolving uses of machine-learning & intelligence more broadly and their implications on product development opportunities.
Develop a creative point of view on how we can design engaging, user-centric digital experiences that drive customer engagement and satisfaction.
Contribute strategic insights & forward-thinking ideas to continuously evolve and improve our underlying platforms
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 3+ years working in digital product development with experience launching a digital products or experience from start to finish.
Skilled in agile product development methodologies and comfortable with changing priorities
Ability to manage multiple business and technology workstreams, as well as the strong organizational skills.
Proven track record of positively collaborating with and influencing partners in a matrixed environment to achieve desired outcomes.
Ability to analyze data to determine priorities, opportunities, and issues with a product.
Familiarity with algorithm development or API development a major plus
High-caliber presentation skills, both in terms of preparing and delivering a strategic vision and translating complex processes for consumption by large groups and senior leaders
Confident self-starter, comfortable working across time zones
