About the Role: As the Manager of Global Tax and Compliance at PriceLabs (US, India & PEO presence in other countries like Canada, and the UK), you will play a crucial role in overseeing and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our international tax operations. This position demands a keen understanding of global tax regulations, a strategic mindset to navigate complex tax environments, and the ability to implement efficient compliance strategies. Key Responsibilities: Manage and prepare accurate and timely tax filings for US, India, entities and revenue tax exposure in Canada, UK and other countries, including corporate income/Federal tax, sales and use tax, and Franchise tax etc. Stay up-to-date on complex tax laws and regulations in all three jurisdictions (US GAAP, Indian AS, and Other countries GAAP as and when required). Identify and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities while ensuring compliance. Oversee the work of external tax advisors and ensure effective communication. Manage tax audits and proactively address any inquiries from tax authorities. Develop and maintain strong internal controls related to tax compliance. Prepare and maintain detailed tax accounting records. Analyse tax implications of business transactions and recommend appropriate tax treatments. Manage tax budgets and forecasts. India Specific Requirements: Hands-on experience with: TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) compliance, including deposit schedules and challan generation and return filing. GST (Goods and Services Tax) filing, including return preparation and reconciliation. Equalisation levy compliance. STPI (Software Technology Parks of India) filings. Income Tax Return (ITR) filing for the company and relevant employees (if applicable). Transfer Pricing (TP) documentation and filing. US Specific Requirements (Preferred): Hands-on experience with: Sales tax registrations and return filing for various states. 1099 (information return) filing for vendors and contractors. Form 3921 (information return for excise tax on specified private foundation investment income). Form 1042 (annual withholding tax return for foreign persons). Franchise tax return filing for relevant states. Gross receipt tax return filing for relevant localities. Other federal and state tax compliances as applicable. Estimated Tax workings About You: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in accounting, Taxation, plus a related field (CA/CPA or equivalent designation a plus). Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a tax role with a multinational corporation or public accounting firm. Proven experience in managing tax compliance for US, Indian, entities is must and an additional country will be advantageous. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
