The primary responsibility of this role is to support the company\'s financial planning and analysis activities, focusing on P&L and balance sheet analysis. The ideal candidate should have experience working with Hyperion EPBCS (Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service), strong financial modeling skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and excellent communication abilities.Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to identify trends, patterns, and key financial indicators.
• Perform financial planning and analysis activities, including P&L and balance sheet and Cashflow analysis, to support business decision-making processes.
• Participate in ad hoc financial analysis, special projects, and initiatives as required.
• Prepare and present comprehensive and accurate financial reports, forecasts, and budgets, highlighting key findings, insights, and recommendations.
• Stay updated on industry and market trends, economic factors, and regulatory changes that may impact financial performance and provide insights for decision-making.
• Understand the business processes and utilize it to solve problems effectively.
• Provide alternatives and recommendations based on best practices and application functionality.
• Maintain high standards of customer service to finance teams globally.
• Utilize Hyperion EPBCS / SmartView and other financial systems to gather, analyze, and manipulate financial data for reporting and analysis purposes. (Working knowledge in Tableau, OneStream or PeopleSoft is preferred.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide accurate financial insights and recommendations.
• Assist in the development and enhancement of financial models, tools, and forecasting processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Conduct variance analysis to explain deviations from budgeted/forecasted results.

• A Chartered Accountant, or Masters in finance or a related field.
• 5-6 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or a similar role.
• Strong financial and analytical skills with an advanced understanding of the financial planning process.
• Experience in Oracle Planning Cloud, specifically EPBCS, is highly preferred.
• Advance proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications such as PeopleSoft, OneStream, and Tableau.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of budgeting and forecasting best practices.
• Experience with financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow.
• Self-motivated, confident, and energetic.
• Proactive and able to work with remote oversight, demonstrating initiative, autonomy, and independence.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.
