Job Description

The Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will be responsible for financial forecasting, reporting and operational metrics tracking. The role has dual reporting to the European Head of Finance and CFO

• Support in short term and long-term financial planning exercise for the assigned subsidiary and facilitate financial target-setting for various departments / business
• Support in the preparation of annual budget for the subsidiary, monitor budgets vs actuals for departments / business periodically.
• Track financial metrics (revenue, EBITDA, GP, ROCE, ROIC etc.) of the assigned subsidiary monthly and compare actuals vs AOP; escalate in case of deviations.
• Provide timely and accurate financial data of the subsidiary to the group general accounting team for MIS and accounts consolidation of the group
• Oversee and generate insights from projections under different scenarios - cash flow forecasting, revenue projections, cost performance etc.
• Analyze historical trends, perform variance analysis, compare actual performance (cost, profit, revenue, debt-equity and other financial metrics) with short-term and long-term targets and make recommendations for improvements
• Monitor all capital expenditures against the annual budget as well as fixed costs and work towards effective cost control and driving fixed cost productivity initiatives by recommending approvals for CAPEX, acquisitions, investments, divestments etc. through case to case evaluations, IRR calculations, business case analysis etc.
• Oversee and ensure timely statutory audits of assigned subsidiary. Responsible for preparing documents for the statutory audits and coordinating with auditors for the assigned subsidiary.

• Follow up with the relevant stakeholders for timely closing of statutory audit findings
• Drive improvements in financial forecasting, planning and reporting through automation, advanced tools and techniques.

• Analyze current and past financial data and performance.
• Identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
